New research equipment added
Two new pieces of equipment were added to the MAO group in April 2014: an Autolab PGSTAT302N/FRA32 Potentiostat/Galvanostat/ZRA workstation and a FLS980 spectrofluorimeter (Edinburgh Instruments
Ltd.).
Plus: A brand new LAMBDA 950 UV/Vis/NIR spectrophotometer from Perkin-Elmer with the capability for diffuse reflectance measurement is now located at the Department of Chemistry;
And the acquisition of an X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy System for Interdisciplinary Research and Education in Multi-Scale Materials at University of Texas-Pan American has been awarded by the Army Research Office while Dr. Mao serves as a co-PI.
